Blu-ray is starting to branch out into many areas of provided entertainment, much like the PlayStation 3 console in which it is a compliment to. The commencement to this concept will come in January when Lionsgate releases Saw IV on Blu-ray.
When the gruesome horror flick finds its way in the Blu-ray market this January, it will allow owners to share their insights in a blog through a Blu-ray unit. Coined “MoLog” for Movie Blog, Lionsgate sees this feature as a great tool for Blu-ray owners who may want to connect with other owners using their own creative minds.
This marks only the second title from Lionsgate that is confirmed to use web-connected features as War, which is also releasing in January, is said to include a network connected game. It is unknown whether or not there will be any current Blu-ray players capable of handling this come January, but the latest PS3 firmware update is said to be a possible green light for the feature.
While details are a little cloudy, it appears that Lionsgate is doing more than just releasing content on Blu-ray, but instead trying to add innovation to the hardware. Hopefully these pans out in the best way possible so that other movie studios in the future can come up with similar concepts, thus giving Blu-ray more value and respect.

I like the sound of this !! we need ideas like this to seperate blue-ray from hd. quality, i heard a long time ago that with blue-ray movies you could go on-line while watching the film, to find info about the film, but never found a film with the option, this sounds just as good !!
