Brutal first-person shooter Shellshock 2: Blood Trails will be on its way to store shelves in time for Christmas, Eidos Interactive has confirmed.

Set during the Vietnam War, Blood Trails follows the mysterious disappearances of a group of Special Forces soldiers, who have been dispatched to the remote jungles of Cambodia to locate a missing government shipment known as Whiteknight.

Players control the lone and deranged survivor of the missing group, who must survive in a harsh and unforgiving environment against numerous traps and enemies, including the savage victims of Whiteknight.

Shellshock 2: Blood Trails will be available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms.

    All this shooting is ridiculous.  Are you guys really that shallow as to eat up shooter after shooter?  They wouldn't make them if they didn't sell.

    @11

    No, I don't buy them (except for Resistance) but they still keep coming. I am not alone. Somewhere along the way everyone started to play FPS games.

    I blame counter-strike and Xbox.
