Although Siren: New Translation was officially announced only a short while ago, it appears that a demo of this classic remake has already materialized on the Japanese PlayStation Store.
While browsing through the region's PS Store last night, we stumbled upon the 550 MB "Siren: New Translation Trial Edition." Sure enough, it was a demo of the upcoming horror title. The game retained a distinctly Japanese feel, with a camera system and control scheme that felt rather alien to us.
Although the tutorial is entirely Japanese, the voice acting is in good ol' English. So if you're up to the challenge and have a Japanese account, make sure to give this one a download.

The demo's great. Love pushing people down liftshafts, over the edges of bridges and slamming them through windows. :D

I don't have anything to say about the demo. I just wanted to say that I also think fendr is a dou chebag.
And to fendr's post below this, since you've posted more comments on this article than anyone else, I guess that must mean that you have absolutely no life.
Oh, and fendr, learn how to spell.

The demo totally "creeped" me out! IMO, this is pretty darn scary...and close to being scarier than Silent Hill!
Disturbingly enough, there was so much familiarity to this game with Silent Hill. Like the nurse (psycho, f@cked nurse) and the air-siren that sounds so much like the one in Silent Hill!!! Is this company any way associated with Konami or Silent Hill franchise??

@MatrixSixaxis
Yeah, they have a very indirect association. Konami's Silent Hill is exclusive to the Playstation brand (except the fifth one coming out, but it's not made by Konami so... I'll leave the assumptions to you), on the other hand, Siren is exclusive to the Playstation brand because it's made by Sony's Japan Studio.
Their association: Playstation exclusivity.
