Square Enix has unveiled a new video for gritty crime romp Sleeping Dogs, revealing the developer’s inspiration behind the game formally known as True Crime: Hong Kong.

Sleeping Dogs sees players hopping into the shoes of undercover cop Wei Shen, who is tasked with infiltrating Triad group Sun On Yee. The game adopts an open-world template, featuring core story missions supplemented by heaps of side quests.
