Sony confirms western release for The Last Guy

Sony has confirmed that its upcoming PlayStation Network title The Last Guy will receive a western release at some point later this year.

Although a fixed release date was not given, Sony’s Josh Miller revealed on the Official PlayStation Blog that the title would be available to download via PSN “very soon.” The game is currently only available in Japan.

The Last Guy takes place in a zombie-infested town in Japan, in which players must rescue groups of civilians by leading them to the Escape Zone. The town itself is viewed from a top down perspective and is rendered in high resolution utilizing images from Google Earth.

    This game looks interesting but I'll only buy it if it lets you use maps of your own hometowns as level !!

     everygame that is Playstation exclusive should have trophies from here on out.

    and to add I think this game looks interesting and could be fun.

    can you download games from the japan 'psn' store if so how i trIed once counldnt do it hit me at psn~~~neji64

    I didn't know there had been any hype!  Anyways, I want Afrika and that garden sim. Seriously! They look interesting and different.

    Just looks like a tacky way of cashing in on Google Earth, or at least judging by the trailer.

    Good idea though, i just think it will get boring quickly.

    psn id: gingo... it would be amazing if the game used the google map of the area that the person buying it lived in, that would really be something special but i really cant see that happening

    @Denali2 yeah you can create jpn account and use jpn psn card (lucky it's available stores) and you can get what games and stuffs you like :)
