Square’s lifted the curtains on the latest pair of combatants to sign up for its portable punch up, Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy.
First up is an Elvaan lass named Prishe, a non-playable character who featured in Final Fantasy XI. According to Square, the feisty female boasts a fighting style similar to Tifa, and has quite the potty mouth on her to boot.
Next is Final Fantasy V’s bad boy Gilgamesh, who subsequently went on to appear in numerous other games in the franchise, including FFVIII and FFXII. Square’s yet to detail much about his Dissidia 012 incarnation, but we’ll keep you updated.
Final Fantasy VII’s Aerith will also make an appearance in the game, albeit in support form only. Furthermore, she’s only accessible if you download the demo Dissidia 012 Prologus for 300 yen.
The demo’s out today, with the full game due out in Japan on March 5.
