Street Fighter Alpha releasing on PSN this week

Capcom has confirmed that it will be releasing Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors Dreams as a downloadable title via the PlayStation Network later this week.

Originally released in arcades in the summer of 1995, Alpha was eventually ported over to the Sony PlayStation and Sega Saturn the following year, and will be available via the US PSN this Thursday.

The game features characters from both the Street Fighter and Final Fight universe, including Ken, Ryu, Chun-Li, M.Bison, Guy and Sodom, in addition to brand new characters such as Dan and Rose.

The entire series was later packaged as a bundle release for PlayStation 2 in 2006.

    Nice hopefully it will be a PSN exclusive and it will come to europe soon. I still want  the SF2 remix beta though :'(

    Nice!  Always my favorite of the SF series (before everything went crazy with fighting games in general) and the last fighter I ever liked.  In other words, great choice, lol.  Good question about which version, but I'll take either one.  Definately getting it.

     2 Capcom games released over PSN this week? I think I'll just buy Bionic Commando Rearmed over this one. BCR got a pretty high score.
