Street Fighter IV TGS trailers, Sakura makes the cut

Shou'ouken! Sakura returns to fight another day in the upcoming Capcom fireball-em-up sequel, Street Fighter IV.

The Japanese Schoolgirl/Ryu fan from the Street Fighter Alpha/Rival School series was confirmed in a couple of new trailers, and was also featured in this weeks Famitsu, the Japanese Gaming Bible. There is a gameplay trailer here, which our resident Japanese guy tells us is 'kawaii desu ne' (she's cute) and 'sugoi' (awesome).

She joins the already announced home console characters of Akuma, Gouken (Ryu and Ken's master, Akuma's brother. Also known as Shenglong for people old enough to know who/what that is), Dan, Cammy, and possibly Fei Long.

Also, here is the new trailer, which only makes the wait for the games release harder. A particular highlight, though, is Dan's momentary appearance squating on top of a corner post. His expression and overall design seems very reminiscent of his Super Puzzle Fighter II appearance. This is pleasing.

Street Fighter IV is slowly making its way to arcades as we speak, but won't be on home consoles for at least another two to three months.

    I will pick this up, haven't had a good dose of street fighter in such a long time why not play a new one.

     I'm definately getting this game now that Akuma is making an appearance  in this but what i wanna know is that will there be a Shin Akuma  or an evil Ryu

    Havn't played street fighter in decades, think this one might actualy be one of the best fighting game the ps3 has to offer!

     I think the cell shading looks good, but the game ruins it with the camera movement. Particularly during special moves, the camera moves in and spins around the character, what's the deal with that. What they should have done is lock the camera in place and allow it to pan and zoom only. That would have dramatically increased the "2d" feel of the game.

     Cant wait for this, first trailer had me but the 2nd trailer is killer.  Love the graphics.
