THQ recruiting for PS3 Warhammer title

THQ has begun advertising for its upcoming action project, reportedly looking for “videogame development talent across all disciplines to work on an action game for Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 based on the popular Warhammer 40,000 universe from Games Workshop." Consider that a confirmation.

Those of you looking for a port of Warhammer online will be disappointed to learn that this new title is set to be an all-action affair, with the recruitment advert looking for people to work on a "next-gen brutal, intimate melee combat game using a world-class brand.”

The company is looking out for staff across almost all disciplines from animation through to programming and project leads, so in the remote chance any of that sounds like your bag (and you live in Australia) then be sure to head over to the company's official website and get in touch.

Look out for more exploding orcs on a console near you in a couple of years time.

    sounds good! but renember that warhammer 40.000 its not the same warhammer universe that warhammer online, the first is dark space opera and the second is fantasy

    also i wish that nobody start comparision with the blizzard titles without doing some research about the date of creation of both franchises. I hope that this game will be better than firewarrior.

    I've been hoping for a Warhammer Fantasy or 40,000 title since the PS3's release, my prayers may have been answered. And I hope they're including Dreadnoughts, Titans and other forms of mass destruction,

    warhammer 40,000 on ps3! that's another dream come true for me. i've had a lot of those lately. i'm really looking forward to this!
