Take Two: GTA IV still on track for Q1 2008

Take-Two Chairman Strauss Zelnick has reaffirmed consumers that the company’s upcoming Grand Theft Auto IV is still on track for a Q1 2008 release, following his earlier comments that the game would not ship until he was “utterly convinced” it was ready.

"I wasn't intending to be newsworthy”, said Zelnick, during a discussion with GameSpot.

“When asked about the release date, I confirmed the previous release date we'd given, which is our second fiscal quarter. That's to say sometime between the beginning of February and the end of April."

The game was previously slated to appear in October 2007, before being pushed back to 2008; however, as mentioned previously, Zelnick feels the delay will do little to impede the titles prospects.

    Please keep to this date Rockstar, else I will develope gastric pains as a result of too much starvation for this mighty GTA IV :) :) :D. I know GTA IV will be rated at least 9.5/10.

    This Game is a valuable asset for PS3 even though its crossplatform. It will be one of the major titles to come out first in 2008.

    psn id: gingo..... this is excellent news and I ONLY HAVE ONE ACCOUNT ON PSU but sum people clearly have no life and copy me by putting down my name which is strange but there are sum people that are not right in the head and need special treatment

    I have lost a lot of interest in this game since it's taking so long,I will still get it but it's kinda meh.@ Gingo Copying is the greatest flattery so just go with it

    This would be great news nice little present to begin the new year and play non-stop until Medal Gears drops.

    itching to get tht game dont suppose there would be a demo anytime sooner perhaps???
