Midway has confirmed that it has delayed the release of its forthcoming action/adventure title The Wheelman until early 2009.
Speaking to Kotaku at the San Diego Comic Con this week, the publisher revealed that the game would now hit stores in the first quarter of 2009, having previously been slated for release later this year.
The Wheelman pits gamers in the shoes of a highly accomplished driver named Milo Burkik (played by Vin Diesel), as he embarks on a dangerous mission to infiltrate the Barcelona underworld in order to obtain information on a covert heist.
The game is currently in development for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 platforms at Midway’s Newcastle studio.
Stay tuned.

Lts check back and think about what good has come out of Midway lately?
Times up, didn't think of anything eh? Exactly. Any extra time Midway needs to make a better product, is a welcome one, cause i used to love Midway, but Psi-Ops was the last good game theyve released. Stranglehold was "meh"

Yes, markwesker always feels as if he needs to remind us that no multiplat game has ever been good, ever. Far from the truth friend.
Though to be honest, in my opinion, this game looks dreadful.
