TimeSplitters 4 officially announced

While we all knew it was coming, TimeSplitters 4 has now been "officially" announced.
That's right - we can expect even more "crazy characters, devastating weapons and heart pounding hot sweaty action" come the games release. No date or platforms have yet been announced, though be aware the title comes from Free Radical, currently finishing up PS3 exclusive Haze.
It's even got a nice little teaser trailer spoofing Halo which you can find right here. Get ready guys, soon enough it'll be time to finish the fight.

Unfortunately, I doubt it will be exclusive. The first was, the second was PS2 and xbox, and the third was PS2, Xbox, and Cube. Unless they're planning outrageous things with blu-ray and the cell, that is.

It seems as the trailer was taking shots at Halo that it would be exclusive to the PS3 or at least a PS3/PC hookup. The zany minds that went into the previous unstallment makes me giddy as now with sixaxis controls being implemented a lot better in recent titles...

yeah i saw this trailer before. i can't wait. is it me or has Timesplitters starting to act like the, "spinal tap" of FPS

An exclusive would help... They should seriously think about it. They should also consider pumping in enough resources to help get this to market before 2009 / 2010 - that would be too late, way too long to wait.
