Top 10 Games to revive for the PlayStation 3

(continued from previous page) ...Jet Moto. Speeding across strange terrains on futuristic hoverbikes, flipping through the air and blasting past foes to the finish line. The Jet Moto series was amazing back in the old days of the PS1, however it's odd how the series just stalled without thoughts of revival. Awhile back, Sony tried to develop a title called Jet Moto Solar for the PS2, but then canned it before it reached full production. If remade for the PlayStation 3, we'd hope for new large environments, enhanced visuals, and online capabilities. This title could definitely give MotorStorm a run for its money if produced properly.
#3. Twisted Metal

Does this game even need an introduction? Not only was this series known to be the best in car on car destruction, but Twisted Metal gave birth to some of the creepiest and most sadistic characters in video-games. After choosing your character, players would lay waste to everything in sight, running down pedestrians, razing buildings, and blowing up enemy vehicles. All together, there have been a total of eight separate Twisted Metal titles, yet not a single one (besides re-releases on the PSN) for the PlayStation 3. However according to David Jaffe, a new Twisted Metal is on the way. Hopefully running on PS3 hardware, there will be fully destructible environments, incredible particle effects, and even more ****** up character background cut scenes.
#2. Dark Cloud

Developed by Level 5 (White Knight Story), Dark Cloud was an RPG that mixed action-adventure with city building and provided players with interesting and innovative boss battles. In 2003, Level 5 released Dark Cloud 2, which built upon its predecessor, featuring a real-time 3-D world-building engine, minigames, randomly created dungeons, and some of the best graphics on the PS2. Back in October 2007, we reported that an Italian PlayStation Magazine called "PSMania" posted a rumor that Dark Cloud 3 was already in production and that Level 5 was developing the title on a new open-technology, the Japanese style Kumo Engine. However, with White Knight Story still awaiting to hit shelves, we think it will be a while before we hear anything on future Dark Cloud developments.
#1. Final Fantasy VII

You can't deny that Final Fantasy VII is one of the biggest RPG games of all time, if not one of the best, mixing traditional turn-based action, spectacular spells and summons, a heart moving storyline, and unforgettable music. Final Fantasy VII also featured some of the most iconic characters in gaming such as Cloud Strife, Vincent Valentine, Aries Gainsborough, and Sephiroth.
Some of the things we'd hope for would include: complete 3D environments, enhanced visuals (near E3 05 tech demo quality), and possibly new spells/summon/items. However, when it comes to adding anything to the story or new side missions, we'd hope Square Enix would be careful and not add anything to change what is already perfect.
So far, it sounds as though Square Enix has their hands full, and to enter a project as big as a Final Fantasy VII remake is out of the question. Although, it's still frustrating to have them dangle a beautiful tech demo in our face of what Final Fantasy VII COULD look like on the PS3 and then not develop the title completely. For now, we can only keep our fingers crossed.

How could you all forget probably the most stunning ps1 rpg ever made. The Legend of Dragoon. This is a game that the ps3 really needs. It has no rpgs worth mentioning. Plus lod had one of the most unique systems which could be worked on. It's also a sony exclusive and one of it's best projects ever. I would love to see this beauty back.

A second sequel to the mark of Kri would be coool.
Dino Crisis I would love to see Capcom make a new one.
If Edios could make a new Legacy of Kain that would be neat.
Intelligence Qube I could see selling really well. If it was to get remade. Every one loves echochrome and I think people would like this game too.
I so would love a new Jet Moto too. I have been wishing with the past ones coming out on PSN Sony was thinking about making a new one.
I really hope the rumors are true that Level 5 are making Dark Cloud 3 for the
PS3. Plus that there MMO really will get a rebirth on the PS3. That game was called True Fantasy Live Online. I can't tell you how much I hope the rumor is true that TFLO will come out on the PS3.
Now other games that are not on the list that I hope Sony brings to either the PSN or allows them to have a sequel. Plus I hope the third party members will make new ones too. My list of games I want to see are.
Arc the Lad, Alundra, Blasto, Breath of Fire, Bushido Blade, Colony Wars, DarkStalkers, Destruction Derby, Front Mission, G Police, Hydro Thunder, Legend of Legaia, Legend of Mana, Marvel vs. Capcom, MDK, NBA Jam, Lost Vikings, Oddworld, Parasite Eve, Rayman, Road Rash, SaGa Frontier, Snatcher, Suikoden, Syndicate Wars, Syphon Filter, Strider, Policenauts, Primal Rage, Tactics Ogre, The Legend of Dragoon, Tomba!, Vagrant Story, vib-ribbon, Wild Arms, & Xenogears.
So those are the games I want on PSN, remade or to get a sequel.

I want FF7 and FF8 more than anything, PSone titles definitely need to be remade more than PS2 because of how dated the graphics are. PSone games look awful when you go back and play them today. Especially on a big screen HDTV.

Jet moto FTW I hated Jet Moto for the PS2 they FAILED badly with a capital F.
As for FFVII I actually wonder if anyone would still buy this remake if it ever came to light. I mean it's been 11 years since the game came out. If u were 11 then you're 22 now, and I don't think many of them would be wanting to play that. As they have more important stuff to do this is only an example.
I actually want a remake of NFS III Hot Pursuit that game was fun when EA actually made games fun. Ridge Racer for the PS1 those were good times man good times.

FF VII being number 1 is a no-brainer.
I miss Vagrant Story, this game defiantly should have a re-make on PS3. Just looked at some footage, it was a great looking PS1 game, it would defiantly suit the PSP.
I love the Legacy of Kain Series, It would be great to see a timeline like the one in MGS 4 database.
Fear Effect was great, finished the first then only played some of the sequel.
Never got to play the Dark Cloud game or the other one but always wanted to.
