No your not alone. I wouldn't go out of my way to collect trophies but its nice to get them as your going along anyway. As long as i enjoy playing the game, that's enough for me!

Thats good because i hate getting a new game like fifa 09 and not getting trophies, even the though the trophy system has been out for a good time now, and achievements are exactally the same it shouldent be that hard to implement them to trophies

In game music will never be mandatory, that's just making it harder for the devs and the last thing you need with the PS3's position is to make things harder.

 

I've gone on record saying we dont need trophies, but the thing is they do create replay value. Yes it's a bribe to try and convince you to keep playing a game, but it's one that is working and besides you dont want to let M$ think they're better just because theyhave their own useless bribes in achievments do you?

 

One thing I wonder is if thiss means old game will be getting them too or if it's just the wave of games starting in '09?

How is it harder for the developers? If they were able to patch in-game music for Warhawk, then I’m pretty sure they can patch it later or have it already there for their games. They don’t have to do it, so they don’t do it.

I don't think that Sony could justify the requirement of in game music. What is actually more realistic would be for Sony to make it a OS feature in the PS4. Just like MS did with there Console this Gen. Obviously its very difficult for them to allocate that extra power with the current gen system, otherwise they would have done it already.

T obe honest trophies do not interest me at all, I just want to play the game thats all.  Though overall this is a good idea and would make the Playstation Network a lot more competitive to xbox live.  Although I personally think that PSN is already better mainly because its FREE, as it should be
