Ubisoft today announced that Soul Calibur 4 would be released in Europe on August 1, 2008 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Developed by Project Soul, the legendary team behind Soul Blade and Soul Calibur I-III, Soul Calibur IV will re-introduce classic warriors from the series as well as introduce new characters that will bring new conflict and intrigue.
Fully realizing the processing power of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Soul Calibur IV promises to propel the fighting genre into the next-gen era, sporting visually realistic environments, interactive stages, enhanced AI, and a new battle system.
