Ubisoft has announced that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 will be released on March 21 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the series.
The sequel to 2007’s highly successful Rainbow Six Vegas, this follow-up casts players in the role of fellow Rainbow Squad recruit Bishop, who is described as currently "soaring through the ranks” ahead of his comrades.
The game introduces an all-new single player campaign, in addition to an assortment of new weaponry, such as the Mossberg 500 Shotgun, SR-25 Sniper Rifle and Skorpion vz. 61 Sub Machine Gun.
Players can also look forward to three difficult levels, 13 multiplayer maps and improved Persistent Elite Creation system, allowing you to customize your character by obtaining experience points.
Stay tuned for our review at PSU some time next month.

If they can code this right, it might just be my first venture into the Tom Clancy series. Looks promising though.

Vegas was amazing and I got a feeling this will be even better. I like the fact that you can gain experience on the campaign and also that the Barret M468 assault carbine is in, although many wanted the standard Colt M4A1 assault carbine instead. Also Ubi have added the HK modified L85A2 bullpup assault rifle, which is essential for Brits such as myself. The game looks totally awesome.

@deldwen...... nyc has been put to terror enough in the movie business (like just recently cloverfield, lol). You should try to post some postive comments cuse most of the comments that I have read from you are pretty negative, no one really likes reading neagative comments unless they have some meaning behind them.

The games sucks. Sorry but they really do. If you go online any time today, well actualy you can't. The lag is HORRABLE. You take one shot with a Sniper rifle and it takes about 2 mins. for the shot to reach the person your shooting at. And by then the person has left your sights. !EVEN AT POINT BLANK!

The thing is gingo if you don't mind me saying when you have the engine and the building blocks of the last (R6) game that's all is needed then to put everything all back together, it's not as if there starting to build a new engine and game everything is in place, where it would take four or even five years to make a good game, it only takes two years tops to put together with the existing engine and game, really it's all there ready, cheap and easy for ubisoft saving them all of cash.
