I really thought that this game was supposed to simulate real squad combat/strategy like it's shown in the video, but the previous trailers make it look like another rambo run and gun. I might wait on this one.

this is more like counter strike but not as good. graphics 4 this aint good seeing as this is a well established game.

I think it looks great...just the char animations and the fire looks a bit poor

Ah thats the good ol' socom I remember. I'm so getting this when it comes out.

For all of you who don't do Socom, this game is all about gameplay and FUN, not super realistic graphics. There is no respawns and it takes some strategy to play this game. This is the kinda game that keeps you hooked for years, unlike COD where you get bored of it after a couple months.

You'd expect Sony to be really pushing the system with this one, but the graphics dont even look as good as Resistance:FOM. I know SOCOM isn't COD but still.

psn id: gingo... this could be a massive factor in people waiting for a well known and well played ps2 to make it onto ps3 so they can finally buy a ps3 i expect sony to market this a lot

I played all the previous SOCOM before and the last had respawn in certain rooms. I thought that was the best shooting game ever untill Resistance & COD 4 came out. Plus Im use to the 1st person view. I will rent it just to see how the online game is.

i so getting this game, can't wait for it. me and couple of my psn friends have already have a name for our clan. it's call The Ruff Necks.

Look at the actual gameplay videos, the graphics are a lot better than the trailer they just showed, trust me, the graphics look very good on this game.

hmm how should i pu this.. i played socom 2 and 3, so it has been what? almost 3 years since socom 3 came out, well i doubt it's been in development for that long, this game right now looks like it has been in development for 3 months. it looks crappy. and take into consideration that there is no story to go with this. now the graphics looks fine, but animations look like they where implemented yesterday, and the sound sounds like i recorded it myself. i can see why it got delayed, this game is nowhere close to finished.

this game looks interesting, and a bit like Warhawk, except more like Tactical Warfare. Might get it, just to see what its like

never really liked the series I dont like squad based shooters im more of a solo run and gun myself. The graphics look horrible for this type of game and the popularity behind it I thought it will look awesome but nope. This will be another hyped game that will go down in flames.

Socome is not a run and gun game. Trust me when you get online who ever will try and run and gun will instantly die and then have to wait for the round to finish before s/he can play again.

People saying all this garbage about socom have never played socom ever I guarentee it. Socom is not a run and gun game it is a squad based tactical game. If you go run by yourself you will get sniped, you will need to communicate to see where each other is and see if they can see anyone. And this will not go down in flames whoever said that. If people are still playing s2, 3 and CA, then no, this game will not since it is on the PS3. A great online game, it is the best actually. As someone already said, I still play CA and that has been out for like 2 years already, and I don't even play COD4 anymore because it got boring.

after seeing this im starting to lose faith entirely in this game. i seriously hope im proved wrong though as i love socom and il probably get it day one anyhow, even if its bad!

Game looks good But is it just online or will there also be a story mode as well?

R2 will still kill this game! but it looks ok

the graphics look real cheesy but then again  its  stil in development but we'll see what happens
