Warhawk downloadable version delayed for Europe

The unthinkable has happened for Europe. After revealing that Warhawk would be available on the European PlayStation Network simultaneously with that from America, Sony officially stated that it will be delayed.

But by how long you ask? Get ready for this: 48 hefty, long, brainteasing---hours.

Yes, hours. The Sony spokesperson didn't cite a reason for the delay but pinned an excuse that it would complement with the Thursday weekly store updates.

In Warhawk, through various gameplay modes such as Team Deathmatch, Territories Mode and Capture the Flag, players engage in cooperative online play and fight a barrage of enemies in thrilling combat. PSU will bring you more on Warhawk when we get the chance to review it.

    Doesnt bother me too much really, as I am going to wait for the retail version anway.

    yea me too, i want a headset too! but i was agasped when it said 48...i was think days straight away!

    Anyway, I have a headset already...I'm waiting for September because I have £37 on my GAME gift card. Plus I don't have any money in the bank etc to get it off the store! Btw does anybody know if the retail version comes with a booklet or anything?

    Doesnt matter to me because i got Warhawk For Free FROM IGN.com because im in the Warhawk Tournement.  I already went online with some other people...ITS SO BADASS

    i wonder why. this is rather anoying as i have been waing for this so long. Also i invited mates round on wednesday to play it, ill have to rearrange it now...

    chris retail version comes with headset most places apart from  amazon uk at the moment a manual and the game itself includes more video contnet that what ive heard anyway
