Warhawk v1.3 patch

Warhawk has a new patch ready for download that is completely free. There are a total of five new additions within this update and they all should prove valuable to the current and future user base of the game.
Two of the new updates are geared towards the ground troop aspect of the game. Will discuss these first.
First off is the Mechanic’s Field Wrench. This item pretty much does exactly what you would expect it do. All that is required is you move towards an ally vehicle and swing at it. It repairs at a quick rate so it is highly effective during battle, but that’s not all. This trusty item also does one-hit kills which is a plus in any book. You can also utilize the wrench in order to damage enemy vehicles as well.
Secondly we have the Bio-Field Generator. This nifty little gadget will stick to anything from vehicles, walls, and the ground. It’s pretty much like tape. The generator will admit a bio-field that allows for ally life to be restored to the player, it also has the ability to damage enemy players as well. The light will change color depending which effect it will give you, so don’t worry about being confused.
The third addition involves a HOME integration feature that is sure to please. This will allow you and a group of people to meet up in your virtual apartment and plan things out before they happen. You’ll be able to talk strategy and gameplans before literally launching the game from your virtual PSPs. Games launched directly from HOME will be featured on the server as a golden room.
Fourth we have the newly integrated VOiP options. Now you’ll be able to select if you want to talk primarily to your team or take part in some open trash talking with your opponent. On top of that addition the screen will now notify you as to who is currently talking, as well as give you the option to mute/un-mute whoever you’d like.
Finally, the fifth update involves new paint schemes and insignias. As most of you know the Warhawk team is running a contest in order to find new schemes and insignias for their aero warfare. From what it sounds like, it includes player-created customizations.
These five key additions to the only sensation of Warhawk is sure to keep players playing longer than ever. This seems like it will also level the playing field for ground troops as well. We’ll keep you posted with anything further regarding this title.

Sounds pretty good. I'm gonna try to update tonight.
Btw, those first two screenshots look like they're using the Uncharted (Drake's Fortune) Engine.

Nice. something to make me play Warhawk again. I hope this update is better than the Omega Dawn one.

sounds amazing cant wait for psnetwork giftcards to come out so i can finally purchase the new map packs. Sucks to not have a credit card? =P
