Team Xbox have confirmed information about the CPU which will run Microsoft's next-generation console. According to a source it will be built using a 65-nanometer process. IBM has already produced experimental samples at its East Fishkill lab, but it will take between 12 and 18 months for them to deliver a commercial product. Interestingly enough PS3's CPU - "The Cell", will also run on a 65 nanometre chip, showing just how keen Microsoft is to match PS3’s performance.
