Tuesday was a great day for Blu-ray, with nine movies released in total.

From the shores of Iwo Jima to battles on Capt. Jack Sparrow's ship the Black Pearl there was a movie for everyone.

The May 22nd releases were as follows:

* Apocalypto
* Closer
* Flags of Our Fathers
* Freedom Writers
* Letters from Iwo Jima
* M:I-2
* Mission: Impossible
* Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl
* Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

Next week seems to be a a little slower, but it's not bad.

On May 29th, the following movies will be released on Blu-ray

* Basic Instinct
* Chris Botti Live: With Orchestra and Special Guests
* Curse of the Golden Flower
* Weeds: Season One
