Half-Life 2: Orange Box dated

  • Posted June 17th, 2007 by Eric Blattberg

Sixty USD for only one title can seem a little much at times. What about $60 for five?

Valve Software's all-encompassing Half-Life 2: Orange Box has finally been dated. The five-in-one pack is set to ship on October 9th for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC ($50 on PC).

The Orange Box includes Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Team Fortress 2 and Portal. That's a godsend for the price of one game.

Also, be aware that the previously planned Black Box lacking Half-Life 2 and Half-Life 2: Episode One has been canceled. Distributor EA will only be shipping the Orange Box to stores.

Be sure to check out this fantastically valued title (sorry, five titles) come October.
