More songs have been revealed for elite fret-em-up sequel, Guitar Hero III, and all four should please any die-hard Metal fan.

Currently, songs from such great bands as Smashing Pumpkins, The Rolling Stones, and Tenacius D have been enlisted to make the game a hard rocking experience that would previously be considered inconceivable. Now four more great names have been revealed, each with a great song to their name.

The tracks are:

La Grange - ZZ Top
Number Of The Beast - Iron Maiden
Suck My Kiss - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Through The Fire And Flames – DragonForce

Most notably, Iron Maiden are back with another of their more recognisable tunes, after having had a bonus track in the 360 version of GH II. So now, Wyld Stallyns won't just be opening for Iron Maiden, they will be Iron Maiden, and that is most non-heinous.

Also , the inclusion of a DragonForce track has answered a lot of Power Metalling prayers everywhere. Usually known for light speed fret work, Through the Fire is no exception to the DF formula, and should make even the most hardcore GH players a little hot under the collar when faced with it. Thought that Jordan by Buckethead was hard on GH II? You have no idea...

Be excellent to each other, and party on dudes.

I never much liked the Jordan Song from GHII, does it get harder later in the song because I never gave it much of a chance. I thought The Light That Blinds was as hard as it got on GHII (Which still says a lot because I couldn't even touch a good score on that one)
