Former Volition devs launch new studio

Today three former Volition developers announced they have started a new studio, Blazing Lizard.
The three former Volition developers, Sandeep Shekar, Jiovanie Velazquez and Christopher Stockman, are now working on an original downloadable title for the next-generation consoles. They will reveal more information on August 13.
THQ's Volition studio is known for making Saints Row for the Xbox 360, and are now developing Saints Row 2 for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
We will keep you up to date on Blazing Lizard and the downloadable title they are developing.

Volition is real old school. They created one of the best space-sims since the classic Wing Commander series: Freespace. Any game by them should be good.

I don't know, I mean it was OK for 360, nothing spectacular about it but hopefully they change some stuff with the gameplay then it would be considered half-way decent. Hopefully, the PS3 version blows up pretty good.
