We all knew Leipzig would bring great news, but nothing satisfies like new games. Developed by Bohemia Interactive and originally called "Game 2", ArmA 2 will be offered for PC and current generation consoles sometime in 2008.

While we do not have the exact release date, we do have a brief glimpse into the game. ArmA 2 will put gamers in the shoes of a "United States Marine Corps Force Recon squad" tactically advancing through a fictitious Soviet country called Chernarus. Players will help prevent further civilian fatalities during single player storyline and of course cause repeated casualties during the multiplayer options.

ArmA 2 is based off the most innovative and current technology offering enormous maps, authentic units, mobile vehicles, a single player campaign and a multitude of online multiplayer modes.

A promising new title for the PS3. Stay tuned to PSU for more information on ArmA 2 and the Leipzig gamer's convention.
