Microsoft's sales figures are "way off", says SCEA

Sony Computer Entertainment America has issued a statement declaring that Microsoft’s recent claims that it’s Xbox 360 console outsold the PS3 by 2:1 in North America last week are “way off”.
Microsoft announced earlier this week that it’s next-generation videogames console had sold a total of 310,000 units during the Black Friday week, which according to the company, had cemented a 2:1 lead over what Sony’s machine had accomplished during the same period.
However, speaking in an official statement today, the company told the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, "It's (Sony Computer Entertainment America) policy not to disclose our unit sales numbers until NPD numbers are officially released which will be December 13th.”
“However, I can assure you that Microsoft's estimates of our PS3 unit sales numbers are way off and they did not outsell PS3 2:1 during Black Friday week.”
Nintendo is believed to have secured overall console supremacy last week, however, with sales of the Wii reaching 350,000 units.

XBox is so dated... They should just take them out of stores!
The Wii can't stay in stock at any retailer anywhere!
And the PS3 is all that people will have to look at this season!

All I know is last weekend I saw 360's on store shelves. I saw no PS3's and no Wii's. Almost all of the units in my area sold out.

I don't know anyone who wants to purchase a 360! The biggest reason I hate Microsoft is the fact that they like to diss Sonys Playstation 3 any way they can, even pulling $hi+ out there a$! I have not heard one negative comment from Sony about the 360 besides fudging sales numbers!

XBox's sole problem is its MICROSOFT, end of story... We all know and hate MS's track record, and it really suprises me that people keep on buying thier products. Its one thing to wanna have american products, but thier marketing stradegy is NOT healthy for america, I wish more people would understand that., A good Market is based on variety for the consumer, and time after time MS has bought up or tried to monopolize the market.
