Bionic Commando to hold design-a-Level contest
Developer wannabes looking to get their fill once LittleBigPlanet releases, can fill the void in the meantime as Capcom will be holding a design-a-level contest for the upcoming release of Bionic Commando: Rearmed, with the winning design being featured as an in-game level.
Details from Capcom's blog reveal all the specifics regarding the competition, the task being to create one of the game's challenge rooms (a series of small, timed obstacle courses) which are created out of 10 main elements and with those elements you create your own level. Once the competition closes, Capcom will be choosing the best of all the user-submitted content and showing it off in the final release of the game.
"However you choose to illustrate your creation doesn't matter; "sketch it, MS Paint, or scrawl it on the wall of a cave, we don?t care, just send in an image of your idea to firstname.lastname@example.org,"
The contest allows you to submit your levels starting now running until 11:49PM (PST) on March 12. The winner will be announced "on or about" March 19, with their design featured in the game and their name included in the credits.
