Sony prepping US PixelJunk Monsters expansion for April

Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) has confirmed that it will be releasing the expansion for PixelJunk Monsters, Encore, in North America some time in April 2008.
The expansion will feature 15 new stages to play through, new visuals including weather effects, as well as various tweaks to gameplay elements.
Sony has yet to announce when Encore will hit European territories.
Developed by Q-Games, PixelJunk Monsters has players defending a castle from waves of enemy attacks; the object of the game is to place various defence mechanisms around the structure, each one sporting its own particular ability, ranging from rapid fire, air defence and more, in an effort to quell the invading army.

that game is fun, but hard as crap! even in 2 player co-op, its still a big challenge. friend and I couldnt get past i think the 3rd level.

Yes yes yes.. Cant wait for this one.. ! Please make it to the EU as soon as possible.. Me and my friend have almost beated the game :( Gimme some more! :P

Eh crap. I wanted to grab the game this week. Now I have to wait until the expansion comes out for a deal.
Sony will make a killing if they get those PSN cards out. Cough cough.
