Kojima breaks the MGS4 silence as only he can

Fans of the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid 4 are salivating at any bit of information or footage they can obtain regarding the title, especially since Kojima andd his team underwent a media shut down a while back.

Now it appears Kojima has "re-emerged" to show off some new gameplay footage but with a twist. Apparently Kojima has a fond appreciation of the game Assassin's Creed and the video below shows us some new MGS 4 gameplay with an Assassin's Creed twist.

Although no official word has come through way of Sony or Kojima Productions, it is an interesting video and is completely believable as Kojima has done this before. He has integrated characters from the Ape Escape and Rumble Roses universes in the Metal Gear Solid series, as well as lending Snake's likeness to the folks over at Nintendo for Super Smash Bros. Awesome! Would be cool if you got to play as Altair after beating game once. Seriously, Altair with an AK-47 is badazz! note: Assassin's Creed producer is hot!

I remember reading something about this on PSM3, Kojima, and ubisoft together. =D, and this is what you get.

A nice change, from monkeys to assasins. I wonder what other suprises Kojima has in store for us? Perhaps some home goodies? I wonder if they will have enough time to pack them into the game.

Hehe, awesome stuff. Actually made me even more excited to play MGS4, and I've already played the demo. Can't wait. I really hope nobody gives this game a bad review and taints it. Just like X-Play did with Crisis Core. Did you guys see that? Are you kidding me. The average of it is like an 8.5 and they go and give it a 4 (2 out of 5) and pretty much put on display their hate for Japanese culture. I'm never watching that show again.

during the battle I heard the noise that rations make when they appear on the ground, i.e. like when you shoot the fruit out of the trees in MGS3

altair tomfoolery aside that gameplay vid was absolutely sick i didnt think it would be possible for me to be more excited for this game

i love how flued the combat is. god i hated that "stop then zoom in" gameplay in the previous games.
