North America to receive MGS4 L.E. gun metal PS3

After selling out almost immediately on the Japanese Konami site, the Metal Gear Solid 4 gun metal PlayStation 3 bundle has been confirmed to now be heading its way to North America. The sought after bundle was rumored to be exclusive to Japan, so it comes as a great surprise to hear it will make its way across the ocean to NA.
There has been no confirmation on the retail pricing for this bundle; however, we'd imagine that the bundle will retail for a similar amount to that of the black variety. Chances are though, if you're wanting to get your hands on one of these limited bundles, you'll have to place a preorder. According to the Official PlayStation Blog, this bundle is "VERY, VERY Limited Edition." There is no exact number of how many will be released, but we won't be surprised when it isn't many.
On top of this, the official box for the standard bundle has been revealed. Going away from the norm of utilizing just a sleek black box, the company has decided to go in the opposite direction completely. We've included a preview of the box below.
For those of you that aren't aware, the bundle will include a DualShock 3, the 80GB PlayStation 3 and the standard edition of Metal Gear Solid 4.
We're sure a box design for the gun metal version will be released in due time. So keep checking back for that update, until then, we'll keep you up to date with everything MGS4 related.

Nice touch with Snake's reflection on the PS3...If i didnt have a PS3 already, this or the GTA IV bundle would seal the deal for me!

It says clearly that its the 80 gig if you read it. I hope i can get one. I have the $$$ just need to get the timing right. these will sell out quick.

if u bought a ps3 at best buy and got a 2 yr warrenty just do want ima do say somin is wrong wit urs and wen u preorder the LE. one just trade in ur ps3 to pay it all off and if ur ps3 was 600 u will get a 100$ gift card back if u dont believe me call bestbuy and ask em 1 guy was already proven wrong on here that was tryin to argue with me lol u gotta be a thinker like me haha psn AGENTSMlTH add me plz ...in smith the i is a lower case L thanx cya on mgs
