For those of you who have been waiting patiently for the Gran Turismo Academy to open up, wait no longer. The registration process is officially underway and in order to register just click here and pick your country. Once you've signed up with your PlayStation Network ID, you'll have full access to online trials and events.

In order to move on from the first phase of the academy, you will have to earn one of the top twenty fastest times for your country. After being moved to phase two, if you keep on the lucky winning streak and continue to drive like a pro, you'll eventually earn the opportunity to drive a real Nissan GT-R at Silverstone racetrack.

Start your engines and fasten those seatbelts and good luck on your road to victory.
