Resistance 2's Splicer to cause flying limbs

A recent video interview with Insomniac Games President Ted Price has unveiled new weapon for Resistance 2 dubbed the “Splicer.”

Seen below, the footage depicts how electromagnetic retractable saw-blades can cause numerous decapitations and flailing severed arms and legs. A while back we reported Price mentioning how Insomniac had "upped the gore," and this latest footage is testament to that claim.

    Not the exact same name, but something like this. Except of course far less lethal then the Splicer. For the record this is an [b]old build[/b] of Resistance 2.

    Cant wait to play it... day one purchase for me. My only gripe is perhaps the blood looks a little too unrealistic. I also hope the blood "sticks".. as in it doesnt just disappear into the air but it actually falls and splats on the ground making a pooling effect. Now that'd be sick.

    wow looks great but they should work on the blood a little more even though chimeras blood could be different to human blood.  cant wait

    thats AWESOME!!! im so glad they upped the gore, and that weapon looks SICK i hope the blood looks redder than that though its looks almost like a pinkish in the vids,

    EDIT: it is an early build so no worries but man it still looks fantastic
