Real-time Final Fantasy XIII images emerge

New real-time (rendered using the game engine) video of Final Fantasy XIII recently appeared on the TV Tokyo channel in Japan.
Some early development FFXIII footage rolled as Square Enix president Yōichi Wada discussed the game's current progress. A viewer captured these images from the program (likely by taking images of the TV screen, which accounts for the sub-par quality of the shots). Rendered using the highly-acclaimed Crystal Tools, these images depict Nomchan, a character exiled by Cocoon's dictatorial government.
Once again, these low resolution shots don't represent the visual quality of the game, they simply serve as a "suggestion" of sorts. The third screen is the only one that hints at the immaculately crafted detail in the game. Anyway, enough disclaimers; the images are below.

Ok people, this is a video capture off a television set so yeah its gonna look kinda wonky, but the eyeball one gives u an idea of the detail. If you want a real in-battle non-cg-movie shot go here:

I thinks its funny that people are talking about passing this title up just because it went multi-platform. If thats the case than you obviously aren't a fan of the franchise, because regardless of which system(s) it's available on it's going to be good. It's kinda sad that this generations popularity contest is more about politics than fun games. Thank god for the PC, because this stupid fanboyism doesn't exist in that realm of gaming.

Nice 2D hair and flat textured skin.. Where are the skin pores, the creases in the face?
Which begs the question.. Why not show us something that DOES represent the visual quality of the game.. Idiots.

I believe that if they truly make a PS3 version first, and then port whatever they can to the Xbox, this game would look better. Like FF Versus does (up to now). Heavy Rain's images show more detail and realism than theese do.
