We've received a bounty of details on X-Blades from the game's associate producer, John Kaiser.

Concerned with the length of recent action games, we asked him how long X-Blades would take to complete, and if there was anything within the game that would elongate the base playtime.

"From beginning to end X-Blades comes in at around 10 hours of gameplay," Kaiser responded. "For completists out there who want the most out of their gaming experience we’ve put in varying difficulty levels, two endings, hid plenty of treasure and artifacts around to discover and of course have a number of Trophies that will be available to unlock!"

He then mentioned that the game would be available in the U.S. and Europe in January 2009.

Be on the lookout for a full interview on the stylish X-Blades soon.

Don't mean to bust your b@lls, but the title "X-Blades release date, Trophy details, game length and more" is probably a bad title...i was expecting to see things listed, and the article is a prelude to another article...that's shady.

Never heard of this before. Is it exclusive or multi?

@1 - Does the article not mention the game's release date, length, Trophy details and more?

3 - date - January 2009 (edit) is an incomplete date

length - about 10 hours...i'll give you that

Trophy details - simply stating that there are "a number of trophies" is not detailed.

Like I said, I wasn't trying to be nasty about it...was just a little bit disappointed that there wasn't much detailed information beyond the length.

Sorry if the title misled you. Luckily, though, you're about to hear a lot more regarding X-Blades soon.

=)  It's all good.  Since there is a dearth of action-adventure games & rpgs on the PS3, I can't wait to hear about it!

I really hope everybody doesnt think that 10hours is good!!!   GOW was over 30hrs same with GOW2. It seams like a growing trend to make games shorter, then they say oh we went for quality not quantity  blah blah ..... give me both dammit for 60 bucks I want a game thats going to take me more than a few nights to finish.   RIGHT!!!???

There were no trophy details listed... other than the mention of trophies, which is very deceiving. Oh and this game looks terrible; and @8, GoW was NOT 30 hours! I beat both those games in around 10 hours each, which follows along with the average length of games nowadays.

10hrs gameplay seems reasonable considering most games only kick in around 5hrs, even the best action titles on the market have short "actual gameplay" length, like heavenly sword, uncharted or even mgs4 but I guess makijng excellent but short action games is hard so maybe making excellent LONG action games are miracles for devs!
