Midway has confirmed that its upcoming cross over brawler Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe will be released in North America on November 16, followed by a European launch on November 21.
This latest entry in the popular fighter series pits MK staples such as Lui Kang, Scorpion and Sonya Blade against DC’s iconic heroes such as Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. A number of villains from the DC universe including The Joker will also be selectable.
North American gamers will also be treated to a special ‘Kollector’s Edition’ of the game, which includes exclusive packaging art, bonus video content, and a removable print dreamed up by famed comic book artist, Alex Ross.
Fans should also be on the look out for an accompanying 16-page comic book from Mortal Kombat co-creator John Tobias, which details the events leading up to the game’s story mode.

It's sure there aren't many good fighting games on ps3 but I hope there will be a demo for this one, I'm not completly convinced about the dc Vs mk thing even though I'd love to play with batman just to kick the çr@p out of superman, lol!
