Siliconera has published an interview with the Atlus U.S.A. localization team on Persona 4, the latest entry in the critically acclaimed series of PlayStation role-playing games.
There's absolutely tons of detail there for Persona fans, but perhaps the most significant titbit on offer is that the plot is one and a half times the length of its already-mammoth predecessor.
"It has the most text I personally have ever seen in a game," commented Nich Maragos, Editor. "All the story-driven things you’re thinking of are only the tip of the iceberg."
"There were four translators and four editors," he went on, "And we were all kept busy right up to the deadline with the immense volume of text."
Persona 4 is out in North America today. The standard release includes a "Visual Data" concept art book and an official soundtrack CD.
