Hmmm.... This is probably the first time I've become interested in this title.. I'll keep my ears to the ground.

    Anyway, my rant-

Why is it companies are focusing their energy on graphics? I bet this game will look near life like, but will last 7 hours and have almost replayability!?

    ...Just like Mirrors Edge.

F***, I miss the old days... Days of 200+ hours of Final Fantasy, with constant excitment and progress...

looks great! i wouldnt be surprised if it was delayed a couple of months as it gets close to the release date though. If it improves overall quality then its ok i suppose ^.^

    @just8

If it is anything like Indigo prophecy then it will be free roam with action qte's (more like an old school point and click adventure)

    @ HalfOfZero

    Final fantasy - JRPG

    Mirrors edge - action game

Nothing has changed over the generations really. As a matter of fact certain genre's have gotten longer and there are mor replayability. Comparing two different genre's and asking why they don't compare to each other is only setting yourself up for disappointment.  And graphics are never mutually exclusives. My fovorite games not only have the best graphics of thier time but also the best gameplay and decent length for thier genre.

    Normally

    WRPG's - 100+ hours

    JRPG's - 40-60 hours

    Adventure  20-30+ hours

    Shooters - 8-16 hours

    Action 5-10 hours

    Racing sims ...... forever

The images are 1920x1080 (1076 but i expect that it was trimmed). I hope the game also runs at that res, it would look fantastic.

Yeah, I remember when I was a kid playing Sonic 2 and it lasted what? 2 hours after you got the hang of it? Download some old plataformers and see if you can't finish them in one afternoon.

Anyway, to the topic at hand.

    JUST WOW!

I'm not totally impressed with the scenery, but that face... just... holy cow! The minute I saw it I thought it was a photo. It took me some good seconds to realize it wasn't.
