[UPDATE] Christmas Giveaway: Mirror's Edge

By this time of the year, hopefully everyone's families have gotten together to argue over who shall play first or whose SackBoy looks best. I know in my household, I sit idlely by watching my family fail continuously at LittleBigPlanet with every jumping attempt. Even though it's irritating to watch them drain all of our lives, it's still great to be home for the holidays. PlayStation Universe, of course, is looking to make your holidays that much warmer thanks to Electronic Arts and their niche-hit title, Mirror's Edge.

As you may have noticed, we do everything we can to provide you guys with the goods, so we never pass up the opportunity to hand out free games, soundtracks or anything else we can get our hands on. It just so happens that we've gotten our Christmas mitts on a copy of Mirror's Edge plus two soundtracks for the title. While it would make sense to package a soundtrack with the game, it means that one less individual has something to potentially look forward to. With that in mind, I'll be giving out a copy of the game to our grand prize winner with copies of the soundtrack going to two runner-ups.

By now, you're probably saying, "Shut up already and get to the juicy details." So, that's what I'm going to do. In order to enter, all you have to do is submit a comment below. However, to spice things up a bit, if you enter a comment including one of your favorite holiday memories, you'll gain THREE entries into this contest opposed to just one. So it's entirely up to you on what type of odds you'd like.

Without further ado, go for it and comment below. This contest ends at 11:59 PM PST on Christmas day!

[WINNERS]

Grand Prize: PeteKelly

1st Runner-up: xBSGeorge

2nd Runner-up: Naxi

The three winners can expect an email from myself before the start of the new year in order to obtain shipping details. These items will not be shipped until the new year. Congratulations to the winners and I hope you enjoy it.

i remember when the ds came out and i wanted one for christmas, so christmas morning came and i was tearing through my presents, no DS but still i got a ton of presents so it was kinda hard to be sad about it anways after awhile i went back to my parents room and there was a gift on the bed that had my name on it and it was the DS! but they had put it in a christmas light box to hide it from me lol the funniest part is that about a week before christma i was in there room watching tv and i looked at the same light box and was like hmm thats the same size as a DS box and i almost opened it to check but i didn't lol. My parents always find clever ways of hiding presents.

lol oh boy... My most memorable christmas was when I was about 6 or 7 and my dad dressed as Santa. The night before I kept saying how he wasn't real and then later that night. HO HO HO!!! I woke up to big Santa puttin my new big wheel under the tree and then the funnier part is, when Santa was leaving, I asked, "Why aren't you going up the chimney? The back door is for letting the dog out." lol

My favorite holiday moment this year... my cousin (lil kid) thought I had his xmas gift ds in my pocket, because he couldnt find his ds. but it really was my wallet. I tapped it, and saying this is mine. I started going out of the room and he tattletaled on me to the xmas party that was there. He made a gigantic scene literally screaming and yelling, "HE HAS MY DS," to evvveryone.  I stood there with a grin. What if i start hitting it? I hit it a couple times and I really got his attention. I started sitting down and getting up really fast, I really got his attention. I banged my butt againest the wall, and i really got his attention, but 30 secs later, I pull out my wallet. He stood there in disbelief thinking i was doing stuff to his ds, but I soon helped him find his ds. Turns out his DS was still under the tree. Merry Xmas lil cousin.

    This is a COMMENT.

Last X-Mas I taught my grandma how to play Warhawk. That was awesome (and ridiculous).

I'd say it was when i got my Ps3 exactly two years back, i thought it was so cool i would wipe it down with a cloth about every 2 hours and before the end of christmas one of the fibres on the cloth got under the L on my playstation and it ripped it off so now my PS3 says paystation, lol

Hi guys, well my favorite christmas had to be when I gave Santa CPR and mouth to mouth because I accidently put rocks in the cookie. Poor Santa, it was a fun experience though, the beard kind of got in the way but the mustash was all good with me.

My favorite memory was when I recieved my first computer from my parents. A Windows 98 computer, 10 gigs HDD, and 32mb RAM. At the time I had no idea what that meant. All I knew was that I can now play cool games on it (which barely ran on it xP)

My family has a Christmas tradition of driving an hour or so away to see a "light festival" at a park. You know, one of those drive around the park and gaze all glass-eyed at vibrant animatronics things. I have so many memories thanks to this tradition - entirely too many to pinpoint one. It's probably my favorite collective memory of the holiday season.
