Legendary rocker Bruce “The Boss” Springsteen will be putting in an appearance on Guitar Hero World Tour later this month in the form of two tracks via PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade.

Springsteen’s new single My Lucky Day and the all-time classic Born to Run will be available to download on January 27 – coincidentally the same date The Boss’s new album, Working on a Dream, hits the shops.

“Activision has been a leader in getting music to the public in new ways and we are very happy to have them making these two songs available to their audience,” commented Springsteen’s long-time manager, Jon Landau.

Punters are advised to get in quick, though – the tracks will be available free of charge between January 27 – February 4, and will retail for roughly GBP 3.49/320 Microsoft Points thereafter.

The songs are horrible it's the lack of proper music that puts me off this typical Activision game with overpriced Songpacks that makes me laugh
