North American retail giant Gamestop has listed Guitar Hero: Metallica down for release in the U.S. on March 29, 2009.
Expect to cough up around USD 60 for the latest entry in the music simulation franchise, which will be available for purchase on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Wii and Xbox 360.
In terms of content, Game Informer revealed late last year that the title will cobble together a host of tracks from artists who have collaborated with the metal group over the years, including the likes of Alice in Chains and Judas Priest. As for the band itself, expect to jam along to tracks including Enter Sandman, Fuel, Nothing Else Matters, Sad But True and Hit The Lights.
Stay tuned for more details as they become available.

I might rent this cuz its DUH Guitar Hero. And I don't hate Metallica but i don't like their @hole drummer Lars. Rock Band 2 is currently the best music game to date both opinion and fact. And since there will be no RB3 for 09 there will be a chance that Activtion can finally take a year of fresh air without making a Guitar Hero 5 but.....if not then continue to milk this franchise until theres nothing but bone Acti....while HMX cherishes RB. If this continues....then GH is gonna fall the same fate as the Tony Hawk vs Skate delema.
