SCEA’s VP of product development Scott Rohde has claimed that 2009 will boast “an absolutely amazing line-up” for the PlayStation 3.
“I think we had a very good lineup in 2008, especially for the holidays, but in 2009, it’s an absolutely amazing line-up,” said Rohde in an interview with Edge.
“It’s one of the best line-ups that we’ve ever put out in a single calendar year, so it’s very, very exciting.”
Among the heap of eagerly anticipated PS3 titles this year include Quantic Dream’s Heavy Rain, Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and SCEA Santa Monica’s God of War III.
The Games Development Convention in San Francisco starts today, so expect to hear some exciting news throughout the week.
