Information regarding Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time was revealed during Insomniac Games' latest Full Moon Show podcast.

The game is nearing its alpha stage of development and internal gameplay testing has already begun. Fans of the series can expect a slew of new features and game modes, potentially including multiplayer, plus a "bigger" game than its predecessor, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction.

Insomniac Games' latest Ratchet & Clank game will be playable at E3, so we'll fill you in on A Crack In Time and more during our coverage of E3 next week.

I am a confirmed fan of the Ratchet & Clank games and I've played every outing so far. I can't wait to get my hands on the next installment as they're some of the best platforming games around.

@6 your logic makes no sense... bigger does not mean rushed in all occasions

Why cant they show us some screenshots or something!

@ #6 What didnt you like about resistance2? But I agree with you on the idea that this game feels a little rushed. Its possible that they didn't spend too much time on the engine and are using the same engine as from resistance 2. No se. But thus far all their games have been solid.

I can't wait for online multiplayer for R&C, I'll be turning enemies to sheep before an ally sucks them up in to a tornado and another player shocks them all with electricity.

Not every game needs multiplayer. I'm so sick of this trend.  Multiplayer = sucks a lot of time out of development that could otherwise be spent fine-tuning the single player game, which is what R&C has always been....

With games like Killzone 2, CoD MW & WoW, and world of warcraft, do you really think I will be eager to dive into R&C multiplayer content?  No.
