LEGO Indy swings back into action this fall

Traveller’s Tales Games officially announced today the second coming of the LEGO Indy series, LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues.
LEGO Indy 2 will span all four of the archeologist's cinematic escapades, including the recent Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Moreover, the game will include a level creation tool -- we're crossing our fingers for online level sharing, LittleBigPlanet-style.
“LEGO Indiana Jones 2 delivers something a little different for everyone," explained Darrell Rodriguez, president of LucasArts. "Parents will enjoy the humorous take on the classic moments from their favorite movies, and their kids have an opportunity to experience the most authentic LEGO experience by building their own fun levels brick by brick.”
“It has been a real joy to work with LucasArts on such an iconic character," said Tom Stone, director at TT Games. "Indiana Jones embodies the adventurous spirit that perfectly suits the LEGO world. Indy also presents us with wonderful and memorable cinematic moments.”
LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues arrives on all current generation consoles and handhelds, including the PlayStation 3 and PSP, this fall.

This sounds like a cheap cash in really. I mean the first Indy lego series was fine! Couldn't they put the 4th one in an expansion pack for owners of the original title? I'd buy it if they'd ever do that but looks like we won't see that come to fruition.

I like the Lego series of games, can't wait for this one. Really wish they'd patch trophies into the previous games though. I still think the Star Wars series was the best done one of the Lego's games.
