LBP dev was worried Kojima-san wouldn't like MGS content

Media Molecule has admitted the company had its concerns as to whether or not Hideo Kojima would approve of LittleBigPlanet’s lovable MGS-inspired SackBoy caricatures and assorted content.
“We were slightly worried that our first attempts weren’t going to go down too well,” Mark Healey told VG247. “We see Metal Gear Solid as quite serious, a hardcore, intense thing. Obviously, what we did was quite cute, almost satirical. But they loved it. They’ve got a great sense of humour and they really embraced it.”
Fellow Media Molecule co-founder Kareem Ettouney also chipped in, revealing that Kojima-san was particularly impressed with the results and that the Metal Gear Solid team were fully supportive of the project.
“It was really great,” he said, adding, “We met Mr Kojima in America, and he was telling us how excited he was, how much he liked the results.”
“We got a lot of support from the Metal Gear Solid team – beautiful assets. Everyone was really excited. It was a very smooth example of collaboration which celebrated the two brands and retained the identity of the two.”

I hate Metal Gear Solid, but the DLC was awesome. I love how creative the developers are, and this is easily the best LBP Content I have ever had the pleasure of downloading. I personally preferred the Story campaign to LBP than the online levels because I found it much more satisfying to see what the developers could do with such a creative game. Giving us the tools to create anything is one thing, but showing us what they can do themselves with such tools is another.
I'd love to see more game-themed DLC for LBP, especially exclusives. The level pack, as I'm sure everyone will agree is the best DLC they have provided us with so far. PLEASE give us some more!

you hate MGS? with bold letters? :O i think its abit of a shame when people cant get into MGS, they are really missing out on one of the biggest most popular cult legends of video gaming ever. the MGS series will ALWAYS stand as a behemoth of a legacy even after the franchise comes to an end.

C'mon Hideo was fiending over Super Smash Bros. Why would he be upset over his characters in LBP?

it's advertising for him and MGS. No reason he wouldn't love it. Heck I bought it and am not a huge MGS fan and I'm not dissing MGS I do like the game but have too much to do to enjoy it at this time.
