Robert Bowling, Infinity Ward’s director of communications and community manager, has confirmed that the studio has no plans to release a demo of Modern Warfare 2 prior to the game’s launch on November 10.

Posting on his Twitter, Bowling revealed that the team are far too busy adding the final spit and polish to the retail version of the hotly anticipated shooter to ship a demo before release: “No plan for a Demo before launch. The entire team is focused on polish all the way up to ship of the full game,” he said.

PSU will be bringing you our full review of Modern Warfare 2 as soon we get our grubby mitts on the game in early November. Stay tuned.

It's because the single player is going to be totally average, and you know it.

Don't care for a demo, especially if it's a campaign demo... i'm buying the game anyway for multiplayer addiction.

Is IW afraid of web comments before the game releases?

Let the usual slew of anti MW2 comments commence...

The game is going to be amazing, people really need to stop thinking they are *individual* and *unique* by not liking it. There's A LOT of people that don't like MW1 + MW2, mainly because they're popular and it's not cool to like something popular.

or maybe people dont like it because its not as good as people say it is. i dint like the mw1 and am really unsure to purchase mw2 .

i really want a demo because then ill know if i will like it. even if it is a storyline demo.

I really don't think this will matter.

I reckon people will already know whether or not they'll be buying the game.A demo probably won't change people's minds.

Was going to maybe buy it if the demo was awesome, now its a guarantee that I won't buy it.

No need for a demo because you have ever played a CoD game then you have already played the demo for this and every other CoD game that ever comes out....since its the same game over and over with different maps and different guns why do you need a demo???????

I believe this is the first CoD to not have a SP demo level be released.  Very sad.  Why not?  The whole "polishing the product" line is bull.  They want to sell.  Plain and simple.

Think I might get my bro to get this instead of me, I'll have enough to keep me occupied With FIFA 10 till Christmas, then Uncharted 2 and some others for christmas and MAG in january until GoWIII in March and GT5 aswell, who needs CoD, By the time I'm finishe with those, BFBC2 will be out :p

lol. Your all acting like its going to cost like 1000000$, get a job? or save a few pennys until it ships. The multiplayer is what makes MW. Who cares about the singleplayer, thats not where the focus is. Want sp, go towards Fallout 3 or uncharted, something in that direction.
