NIER release date confirmed

Square Enix announced today that its upcoming action game NIER will get a simultaneous release in PAL regions and Europe on April 23. The game is due out on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game will be available in North America on April 27.
NIER is a new game from Square. The game is pegged as an action-RPG, set in a crumbling world plagued by disease and dark creatures. You’ll play as NIER, who is on a quest to find a cure for his daughter's Black Scrawl disease. You’ll find allies on your adventure and you’ll carry a mysterious book.
Larry Sparks, Vice President Brands PAL Region of Square Enix Ltd. comments, “NIER fuses fast-paced action with a mature and mysterious narrative. The game sees a new direction for Square Enix and one that will appeal to action, adventure and RPG fans. We look forward to its release across PAL territories.”

You think they put gamesout at certain times so that people will not buy them? You think you'll still be playing FF13 after a month? i agree that this game may be bad, because i don't think square can do this kind of combat properly. they should just stick to the ATB system.

You know what bugs me. I watched the video and saw the screen shots, this game has some sweet ideas and pretty cool monsters, but the gameplay and graphic will be mediocre, so they will totally waste the potential. Id prefer that they pick a console and work to make a game like this amazing instead of making it lame and cross platform. Hey square, maybe you should pick a console instead of being the girl whos dating 2 guys and neither guy is liking what they are getting. Im sure you might feel special, but everyone else views you as trashy.
