Square Enix has revealed that it has shipped five million copies of the critically acclaimed Final Fantasy XIII to retails worldwide.
According to the Japanese publishing giant, three million copies alone were shipped to North American and European territories; while the remaining two million were distributed for the game’s Japanese launch last December.
To date, the mammoth RPG franchise has shipped a whopping 96 million globally since its launch over 20 years ago. Not too shabby, eh?

Now lets see if it sells at least 1 million in the first month.
Cause GOW3 is almost knocking the door and many ppl cant buy 2 brand-new games in the same month.

@Mickice, you are right man. My friend has a video game store and he got Final Fantasy 4 days ago, but only for Xbox 360 at the time. No body bought it for Xbox 360. Everyboy wanted it for Ps3. He was so surprised and even got the early but didn't sell zero copies for Xbox 360. Kind strange.
