 This game is awesome but so frickin' difficult.  I don't have the time or patience at this point in my life to pursue it any further.  I completed it the first time through and enjoyed it, but it's time to move on.

That's awesome news. I just hope that people continue to play online. I never see any blue signs, or any phantoms break into my game, and I'm alive.

It's cool that they're changing the world tendency. I already did the events for both world and character tendency in white and black mind you. That reminds me, they set world tendency to pure black on Hallowe'en. I wonder if they'll do that again this year?

This game is crap. It's not hard at all. It just has stupid instant death traps that you have to look out for. I never found hard, in fact it was borring. Demon's Souls isn't hard, its CHEAP. Big f***ing difference.

demon's souls was one of the most refressing games i have played in a while. Im glad they are keeping the servers up. I like playing it every once and a while still

Umm... isn't the game's whole gameplay ideals based around online? ... ... I find this more shocking that if someone bought a PS3 a year from now and was interested in teh game may be jilted with not having the online portion of the game. It's not like FPS X who thrown online in just for giggles, the whole idea of what makes this game awesome.... is online related! WHY IN THE HE LL WOULD THEY EVEN CONSIDER DROPPING SERVERS SO QUICK IN IT'S LIFECYCLE?

Hope there will be another Demon Soul cause I have to say  this is one of the best games I have played. Just got the Black eye stone so I'm invading people all roads.

Can someone give me a list of all pure white only events? I know of the Dragon Smasher - but thats, sadly, all I know about. ><

@3, the've EXTENDED the servers - they were gonne be off "6 months after release".. they prtty much extended it almost a year. :P

@1 Just commit suicide in a level for your black tendency.

I am glad I had one complete play through before the shift towards white tendency, that way I got to witness the real Demon's Souls. Players will be in for a surprise during NG+, when the NPC's and bosses are 40% harder, and the WT is no longer white! A lot of crying then! I love DS, DS2 will be a day one purchase. Everyone else can get facepalmed.

I cant wait for the second one to come out!  I would love to have an area where you can get together with friends and pick out weapons and armor before setting out on missions, and a lot more levels...i sold my game after beating it twice and playing online for a while, it was a great game but not worth playing over and over again unfortunately.

Soo what happens when the server is shutdown, no more online play?

Sorry but if that's the case that is very very poor. I bought the Chinese version and the UK Collectors to play online.

PS3 has many more years left in it yet. Why shut it down?

I know it must cost money but come on.
