Platinum Games has revealed that it will be divulging fresh info on its stylish action title Bayonetta at some point this week, hinting that a sequel announcement is imminent.
Writing on Twitter, director Yusuke Hashimoto teased: “Good morning. It looks like we’ll be able to share new information related to Bayonetta this week. Look forward to it."
Both SEGA West's Mike Hayes and series creator Hideki Kamiya have previously expressed interest in developing a sequel; with the latter mentioning it could be a spin-off game.
Bayonetta hit western shores for PS3 and Xbox 360 in January 2010 and has shifted around 1.1 million units to date.

@ 2 I agree, I was utterly dissapointed to see bayonetta on the ps3 as an inferior version, so inferior (at least pre patch im told) IGN had to do 2 separate reviews of the game! So sadly I had to pick this up for my 360.
Heres to hoping any sequels or spin offs use the ps3 as the lead platform
