CoD: Black Ops launch trailer gets the blood pumping

Activision has unboxed the official launch trailer for its hotly anticipated Cold War-era shooter, Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Seen below, the footage depicts a variety of action-packed sequences plucked from the game’s single-player campaign, accompanied by classic rocker Gimme Shelter by The Rolling Stones.
Call of Duty: Black Ops deploys worldwide on November 9.

Sure MW2 had it's glitches but can you really say this trailer is 'garbage'?
Looks pretty good to me....it's even got jfk in it!

I have never bought a COD game, but decided I will get this for the sake of having a well rounded game library, plus zombie mode!

i like the song cuz it goes with the era that it's in. great trialer @ 1 your just one less person that i'm not going to be able to kill constantly. wasn't there suppose to be a black ops zombie trailer coming, i was told that there was for halloween that they were releasing a trailer. some people leaked some gameplay of major spoilers.

@1 and all the complainers, i dont think ALL THE MILLIONS WHO ARE GOING TO BUY THE GAME are wrong and u r right, If this game isnt up to ur standards i dont know why u bother come in.
@6 killzone has the best graphics but the control( specially onine) is very laggy, specialy when u aim. if killzone 3 fixes this problem i will also think its the best, but till then COD is the best

Has Treyarch ever heard of God of War 3 (or even Peace Walker lol)? This is not the biggest game of 2010. Maybe the most over hyped. -

You honestly sound like a COD fanboy. Having "MILLIONS" of others buy the game doesn't make it a good game. That only means there's that many COD fanboys who are going to buy an overhyped game. Have fun playing the same game as Modern Warfail 2. -

About 95% of the video is NOT gameplay, they do that with all the CoDs; they show all the good amazing action movie-like stuff and then you find out you play none of that. I'll wait for KillZone 3.

i dont know about you guys but my blood is really NOT pumping, i will be saving $45 and buying BFBC2:Vietnam. and then KZ3, which will a whole lot better than another COD remake

@12 actually im not a fan of any game. im a fan of good games. and there is a saying ( if it aint broken, dont fix it) but still they improved their online, while killzone is just beatiful, but the control is very laggy online, so ( u should also enjoy COD cuz im sure u ll buy it) everyone talks sh1t about COD and then everyone buys it, and u r no different ;)

I really don't see how this is a rehash. Better graphics, they're in places I haven't seen in a COD game before, and they've added new online modes like wager matches. So if you're complaining about the gunplay being the same, how is that a bad thing. The gameplay mechanics are kickass. Killzone 2, for the people saying its better, had some of the worst controls I've ever used. Shooting someone in COD is so much better cause the controls are fluid.
Great trailer. Really excited for this now.

Killzone 3 will have a much better storyline, and campaign mode, but When it comes to COD, the free for all aspect and online play is just to damn good to pass up...
I think its funny how CoD HATERS watched the Video! If you don't like the GAMES WTF are you watching the trailers for and spending time commenting on it!

It's over an overused engine yes, but saying it's the biggest game of 2010 is realistic. It's on all major game systems and PC. The game is sold out almost everywhere with the hardened edition for the PS3. This game is gonna be epic. If you play it or not, Treyarch is going to make a fortune

how the h3ll is that even anything like mw2? you mean it has guns and you shoot right? ok :s completly different story... agree maybe the multiplayer will be the same but your argument can be aplied to any game sequal :s

gow 2 is absolute $!£^ its just the same as gow 1... gow3 is terrible too its just the same as gow 2
uncharted 2 is shockingly bad because its just a re-hash of uncharted 1
